Teaching and Supervision
Teaching Statement
Christine's goal in teaching is to provide a nurturing environment that allows students to have an exceptional learning experience and grow intellectually. As an academic, She sees herself as a role model for her learners by earning the Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) in 17 weeks, consisting of 7 papers with 64 credits from the Southern Institute of Technology while juggling teaching, research, and administrative duties. The best part of her day is working with students one-on-one, providing as much support as possible with much-needed pastoral support. Seeing the joy in their eyes when they finally grasp a concept is the ultimate award that led her to teach in the first place.
