Doctoral Supervisor School of Economics and FinanceJi (George) Wu is an Associate Professor in Finance at the School of Economics and Finance, Ƶ (Albany). George received his PhD in Finance from Lincoln University, New Zealand, in 2012. Before joining Ƶ, George, as an assistant professor in finance, taught and researched at the Institute for Financial & Accounting Studies, Xiamen University, from Oct. 2012 to Feb. 2017.
George’s research interests focus on but are not limited to studies in the China Capital markets, Financial Anomalies, Empirical Asset Pricing, and issues in corporate finance and corporate behavioural decision-making. So far, George achieved 38 journal publications, including 32 SSCI journal publications. George’s research has been widely published in international refereed journals, such as the Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Energy Economics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Finance Research Letters, International Review of Economics and Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, Emerging market Finance & Trade, and among others. George also sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Bank Marketing and is an active anonymous reviewer for over eighty journals in finance, accounting, and management disciplines. George is a visiting professor at China International Low Carbon College, Shandong University of Finance and Economics.
