Dr Ina Draganova BSc (Hon), MPhil, PhD,
Senior Lecturer in Animal Science
Doctoral Supervisor School of Agriculture and EnvironmentIna is a Senior Lecturer in Animal Science (School of Agriculture and Environment, Ƶ). Prior to joining Ƶ Ina was a Lecture in Equine and Animal Science at Hartpury College, University of West of England, UK where she led the BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare programme. Her research interests lie in the area of animal behaviour, animal management and precision technologies. In recent years, Ina has focused on the use of emerging precision tools to track and monitor livestock, examining the interactions between animals and their environment, and spatial data analysis. Furthermore, Ina has an interest in companion animal behaviour, with a focus on behaviour problems in dogs, cats and horses, and the use of behaviour modification techniques that reflect current understanding of how animals learn to mitigate these. Ina also teaches animal behaviour and handling to undergraduate veterinary and animal science students, and precision technologies to agricultural science students.

Research Expertise
Research Interests
My main area of research interest is in animal behaviour, both livestock and companion animals. In particular, how environmental factors affect animal behaviour and how we can successfully use emerging precision tools to track, monitor and analyse these interactions.
