Multidisciplinary construction professional with over 30 years of industry and academic experience. Past President of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. Currently on the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors Auckland branch board and New Zealand Society of Construction Law council.

Author of the world's first construction contract (STCC-RSP 2015) to attain the Plain Language Commission UK’s Clear English Standard accreditation.

Advocate of plain language, which is heavily emphasised in the Master of Construction (Construction Law) programme.
