My research is not only informed by my psychological research background, but also my experinece as a Budhist Chaplain and Hospice Volunteer, as well as my studies and articles in the area of Vajrayana Buddhism

Please note that prior to 2017, I went under the name Heather Buttle.

My PhD was completed at Bangor University, Wales, where my background was in Cognitive Psychology. However, my main research focus is on mindfulness and spirituality (particularly from a Buddhist perspective) and includes a variety of research approaches (both quanitative and qualitative). I teach on the postgraduate course Principles of Design (175.738), as well as supervising postgraduate research students.
