Senior Lecturer in Sport Management
Doctoral Supervisor School of Sport, Exercise and NutritionI have extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across the disciplines of sport and recreation. My teaching incorporates blended-learning methods, stair-cased learning approaches, and student-success initiatives.
My research focusses on stakeholder insights and relationships within the realm of sport and broader health-based affairs. In doing so, I opt to primarily utilise qualitative methodologies.
I am a certified primary postgraduate supervisor, taking on students with an interest in the facilitation of sport. I am also willing to support students whose research may fall outside of the sporting realm, but may be interested in exploring a qualitative methodology.

Research Expertise
Research Interests
My research interests focus on acknowledging and managing the factors that influence sport stakeholder relationships within a range of sport events and sport organisations.Through the use of qualitative and quantitative research methods, my research places specific attention on sustainable sponsorship, CSR initiatives, sport organisation strategic directives and the increasing influence public health agendas are having on food and beverage product alignments with sport.

Graduate Supervision Statement
As a supervisor, I strive to create an environment that facilitates safe, supportive, and enjoyable learning – in turn developing research and the researcher. My key values include honesty, openness, empathy and a strong work ethic. These values help to maintain positive working relationships with my students. I also endeavour to invest my own time in ongoing professional development as a supervisor, for the betterment of postgraduate student outcomes. In noting that people are at the heart of supervision, I aim to encourage my students to achieve their personal best.
